Gateway Regional Medical Center uses the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), technology that helps make imaging more accurate and convenient for both patients and doctors. This digital system allows your doctor to manipulate images for a more thorough review rather than having to obtain additional images, saving time and helping patients avoid unnecessary radiation exposure. The PACS system also helps speed up your results. There is no film to develop, so results are available almost instantly in the computer system. A radiologist can access your results immediately, whether he or she is on site or at a remote location.

We offer diagnostic imaging services at locations in Granite City, Edwardsville and Waterloo. For more information about our different locations, click here.
